Hi my profile shows one cyber security restriction, but i cannot see anywhere on facebook. It shows all green and says no restrictions. When i go to support inbox, it shows that internally there is one. How to remove this? Can u pls help

I’m in my last year of highschool…looking to complete all of this by mid next year, is it possible to get internships with all of this or even land a remote contract during my gap year….there isn’t a lot of cybersecurity jobs due to my location ( Caribbean – Trinidad and Tobago), but is it possible to get contracts or even internships that can be remote from the US or even anyehere else.

I am a college freshman looking to change my major to either IT or cybersecurity. Whichever one I choose, I plan to complete my school's Accelerated M.S. in cybersecurity. Which do you think is the best option for me to major in that will make me competitive in the job application process? It was mentioned in the video that some companies prefer degrees and some don't. Would you say that most companies prefer degrees? Also, when I do get my master's, should I still complete all of the beginner certifications, or will my degree be valuable enough? And lastly, should I put all of the certifications I complete, up to the last one mentioned in the video "Hack the Box," on my resume? Which ones should I leave out, and which should I include?

Hi! I'm a second-year CSE student, and honestly, I haven't started learning cybersecurity properly yet. I was planning to follow Jeremy's IT Lab networking course, but I can't afford the CCNA certification exam right now. I'm confused about whether I should start with networking or follow the Google Cybersecurity Certificate → CompTIA Security+ path you mentioned in your video. I don't have a clear roadmap, and I want to build real skills even without spending much money. Could you please guide me on where to start and what roadmap I should follow? I'd really appreciate your help! 🙏

It would be really cool to hear you talk about what’s worth learning in cybersecurity now that AI can write exploits, analyze code, find vulnerabilities and automate a lot of what security professionals do. AI has changed the field quite a bit. What would you recommend focusing on if you’re trying to build a career in cybersecurity today?

OK, I promise I've scrounged the comments looking for my question and haven't seen it. Are any of these meant to overlap at all? Obviously not going for four certifications at once, but since I'm midway through the Google Cybersecurity Certification, should I be doing GRC Mastery at the same time? Or is it a straight one-after-the-other type thing? I have a part-time job which can be close to full-time occasionally but is not a set schedule, so some days I can throw hours upon hours at this, and other days it's just that next step.

I know I’ve said I was going to start before, but here we go again, lol. I completed most of the Google Cybersecurity Certificate years ago but never finished the Python or AI sections, and I don’t feel the need to go back and complete them.
Starting today, October 16, 2026: I’m beginning with the GRC Mastery course, which will also be a great refresher. I want to explore whether I’d prefer to specialize in GRC or digital forensics (not law enforcement), so I’ll also work through the Cyber Forensics pathway on the side, just for fun.
My daily goal: I must study every. single. day. Even if I only have 10 minutes one day, I’m still going to show up. My goal is to study for at least one hour every day.
Progress check-in: April 16, 2027. I take my time when studying, so this isn’t a deadline to finish everything. It’s simply a reminder to post my progress on here.
