You’ve heard the word blockchain everywhere in crypto conversations, but what exactly is it and how does it really work? In this video, Sami breaks it down for you the fundamentals of blockchain technology — why blockchain is called a decentralized digital ledger, how consensus mechanisms like proof of work and proof of stake keep networks safe, and what makes blockchain revolutionary beyond just crypto.
Whether you’re new to crypto or just want a clear explanation from the source, this video gives you a solid foundation on blockchain technology and why it’s capturing the attention of governments, banks, and major corporations worldwide.
In this episode, you will understand:
✅ What a blockchain really is and how blocks link together
✅ Why blockchain data is immutable and secure
✅ How decentralized consensus works to verify transactions
✅ The difference between proof of work and proof of stake
✅ Practical applications of blockchain beyond cryptocurrency
✅ Why blockchain is reshaping trust on the internet

There are multiple companies doing their own blockchain so how does my purchase of part of a bitcoin notify them and which blockchain would record my purchase?

Watching the market drop is never easy, especially when it's money you worked years to build. Been through enough ups and downs to know fear can make vou do the exact wrong thing. Appreciate the honest reminder to stay disciplined.

This explanation makes blockchain concepts easier to apply to real projects like $DECA
@zayle6k · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm
IT'S totally unsafe, we have seen fake platforms break into the network, and blockchain technology failed to detect stop transaction, scamers walk away safely stealing money
@runebyzephyr · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm
Thanks for sharing! Tokens like $DECA is a practical example
@nyxofchains · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm
Really interesting! I like how $DECA applies Blockchain to give real utility to players
@themusechain · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm
Thanks for the info. Projects like $DECA show blockchain utility beyond speculation.Thanks for the info
@beckinblockchain · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm

Very informative, I learned something new today.
@AskWhyScience9 · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm
This is seriously one of the best and most concise Blockchain explanations out there! 🤯 Thank you, Binance Studios, for breaking down complex ideas like decentralization and cryptographic hashing in just 3 minutes. The comparison between Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake [01:33] was particularly clear and helpful for understanding consensus. Great job keeping it fast, simple, and straight to the point! 👏
Now, to jump into the discussion: The video asks if Blockchain is revolutionary or overhyped [02:42]. What application (besides sending crypto) do you think is most likely to prove its revolutionary potential in the next two years (e.g., DeFi, Smart Contracts, or digital IDs)? Let's discuss its future! 🚀👇
@CunnyMunny · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm
Very helpful and informative.
@Inimitable · October 18, 2026 at 11:04 pm
Well, it started off at the pace I enjoyed and could absorb information. But, then you vomited a whole blast of jargon that meant absolutely nothing to me as a newbie.
I am a speaker of Chinese as well as my native English. But if I attempted to explain Chinese to you by mentioning a couple of sentences, like "It is the native language of China. China is a country in Asia…" but then started speaking Chinese to you to add to my explanation, you'd be totally lost. That's how I felt this video went.
Loved the first bit. Lost the rest.
