Today at Xplore Xpeng I received a surprise Over the Air (OTA) Software update from 5.9.5 8905 to 5.9.5 8910. I hadn’t received the prior minor updates so this meant I got the fix for the missing mid-size vans that had disappeared from the SR Assist display, plus a fix for Ecall stability in Norway and improved FM radio playback stability. Hi Michael! It doesn’t seem to be available in Sweden on my P7+ yet, but I haven’t seen that van bug on my car either, where vans show up. I’m on version 5.9.5.8905

Hi Michael an update is great if it improves or adds something we dont already have. With this one you got medium size vans back, I was on 8908 so hadnt lost the medium size vans, I dont make calls in Norway or use FM radio but I am sure that these improvements are great for people that do. Sometimes the hardest thing for software developers is to think of what to do rather than how to do it. Maybe we should start a list of improvements we would like to see, I would certainly like the digital radio reception better though I am not sure that that could be improved with software updates. But another improvement would be if we were able to tell the car to check the server for updates, or a manual update, rather than the other way around. I remember watching the video of your first update you had been waiting patiently for weeks to get it, I then had the same long wait till Rachel sorted my update and then I was a version newr than your update.

It will be very interesting to see what the actual update was, and what it entailed. Aways love and update, like a big child, to see what's new that they have given us…lol 😂

I have a feature request/suggestion for XPeng that I think many owners would love, and it would be great if you could highlight it in one of your upcoming videos or pass it along to your contacts at XPeng.
Currently, X-Combo (Smart Scenarios) doesn't allow toggling the Auto Hold / Creep mode. When parking in tight spaces like a narrow garage at home, having Creep mode active makes maneuvers much smoother compared to Auto Hold.
It would be amazing if XPeng allowed us to automate Auto Hold / Creep via X-Combo—for instance, automatically disabling Auto Hold when arriving home based on GPS location.
