Here’s why I fell in love with the SaaS business model…

You build the software once. And get paid every month.

Recurring revenue.

If I lost all my money, followers, and network today, I’d still know exactly how to build a SaaS company from scratch.

And today I’m going to share the 7 steps with you in this video.

Building a SaaS business might seem daunting, especially if you’re just starting out.

A lot of people think they need to raise capital, hire a very expensive development team, and spend years in the red before their product takes off.

But the key?

Start with the problem, validate your solution, and then build and refine your product.

You don’t need a huge team or a ton of money…

Just a solid plan and the right approach.

My 7-step guide is your map, and it includes:
– How to pinpoint the exact problem your SaaS should solve
– The secret to building a prototype without wasting time or money
– 4 steps for creating a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) quickly

Is anyone making money, like real money by running a SaaS app? The idea to execution is the real test.

@KidssLaughingWorld · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

too much sound distraction , wtf edited it.

@FaelorenLangwick · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

Before scaling Claude Code /design for mobile apps: iOS and Android layout suggestions., run a small A/B: Claude vs your current tool, controlling task length and error rate. I have a template on my profile.

@DealStatic · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

I honestly didn’t expect this to be useful for me at first since I’m already deep into developing my own project. I nearly skipped it for that reason, but I’m glad I stayed. The practical strategies and real-world advice packed into this video are incredibly useful, even for someone who has already made significant progress. There are plenty of takeaways here that can be applied immediately.

@usefulmall · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

It will help if I know what SaaS is.

@ckarcher · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

When you show the prototype to your (potential) users, how do you make sure that they're not just taking your idea and develop it themselves? Is that a real concern?

@BasketballChronicles-s1i · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

@OfficerCadbury · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

Your music and sound effects are so loud they are distracting from your voice. It is hard to hear what you are saying.

@five-forty3431 · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

excellent info. thank you!

@PricingOS · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

Dan's framework for starting a SaaS from scratch is solid. The pricing component I'd add: don't launch with complex pricing. Start with one plan, one price, and iterate from there. You'll learn more about pricing from your first 20 customers than from any amount of pre-launch analysis. Complexity comes later when you have data to support it.

This is late, but I love how you explain business scenarios with context and anecdotes; it makes the information 10 times more valuable to beginners.

@kirankuwar8518 · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

Encourage no background music , such a distraction

@EstrategadeCoversion · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

LOL. Insteresting, I've been watching the videos of this guy, and I had not paid attention to his name, just watched his very helpful content, and I purchased a book "Buy Back Your Time" on Amazon, so I was looking for the SaaS Academy that he refers to multiple times, and I found the author of that book which is changing the way I work for both my business and my corporate job for the better, it's this guys I've been watching for some months. Law of Attraction doing its job, lol

@redeha001 · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

I started saas, I just wish I fully understood the language. Im also tired of cold calling mom & pop shops. I want to go after the big fish.

@AllToSuccess · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

Let's go. This video really clarified the concept of a SaaS. I'm going to start one right now. Let's go!

@Vic_Gonzales · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

I have an idea for a software. Just don’t have the skills to code. Any suggestions where to learn? I’m currently in real estate and have been in sales since the age of time 😂 Really want to challenge myself and give it all I’ve got until I can’t anymore. Let’s go! 🚀

@freefirelover_00-w9m · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

3 months ago I was broke, anxious, and completely lost. My friend sent me Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley and I read it in one sitting. Not even kidding, my whole energy shifted. I stopped chasing and started receiving. New clients, better sleep, confidence back. people don’t sleep on this. 😭✨

@keshavmahajan2995 · November 7, 2026 at 12:09 pm

Honestly, it breaks my heart how Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley isn’t getting the attention it deserves. This book changed me. People need to wake up to this.
