I wonder what the level of data literacy is among top managers and directors.
If our goal is to treat data as a commodity to drive better decision-making, how do decision-makers actually use this data in real time? As low-level specialists or team leads building our data literacy and analytics skills, we often find ourselves drowning in the sheer volume of data being collected. Is it really raw data that decision-makers need? Or do they actually need analysis and reports containing actionable insights derived from that data?

can we elaborate on why do we need resolution better than 1 hour? if this era of industry 4 is all about AI, than this must be the key. also, can we not call it industry 5?

Thanks for this update on your original video. Walker you do make some important technical points. That said, I'm not sure where you derive that Tesla is a data profit first and foremost company. I looked into it today. Tesla's own Q4 2025 shareholder report (published Jan 27, 2026) shows automotive revenues were $69.53B equating to 73.3% of Tesla's total $94.83B in revenue. Tesla does not report a single separate "data revenue" line item anywhere in its financials, and Tesla Insurance has no disclosed profit figure either. The profit segment that actually hit a profit record in 2025 was "Energy generation & storage". Tesla's own shareholder letter describes AI/software profits as something that will accompany hardware profits "over time", meaning future tense. From what I can find Tesla is, by every financial measure, still a vehicular sales profit company, not a data profit company. Source: ir.tesla.com β TSLA Q4 2025 Update.

So why not start with Knowledge Graph instead of UNS
@pbrainjugo · November 1, 2026 at 11:53 am
How about manufacturers who, want to start their DT journey, but already have MES built into their ERP solution.
We have "realtime" data down to the cycle on all our machines. Where do we start?
