Welcome to The Fit Pinoy
The Fit Pinoy is a blog created by Malds, a blogger and fitness enthusiast who as of the creation of this blog has fallen shamefully far below the fitness bar he has set for himself. In an an attempt to get himself back into shape he’s decided to try as many classes, exercises, diets and supplements he can safely get his hands on. And since he has a bit of time on his hands, he’s decided to write about all of these with the hope that other people will also find his experience useful in their battle against the bulge.
There, that’s enough of me talking in the third person haha.
I honestly don’t know what this blog is going to become, which is why I currently haven’t written an about the blog page yet, but I’m hopeful that it’ll be useful for both me and the readers.
To give you at least some idea about what I intend to do though, I can picture myself writing about basic health and fitness topics initially and later on I plan to write about the different classes I’ve taken and will be taking. The first part (health and fitness basics) I feel is necessary for people who are new to living a fit and healthy lifestyle so I have to cover those before I move on to the next topics.
But what I’m really exited about are the posts I’ll be writing about the classes I’ll be taking. The need for me to write about a lot of topics on this is actually an excuse for me to go and try the classes that I’ve always wanted to do but never had the time to. I’m already taking boxing lessons and have done some Muay Thai ones so those will probably come early. But I’m looking to getting some Jui Jitsu classes in and starting my CrossFit training.
Then after I’ve covered those I’ll probably be looking into Yoga, Pilates, Planaforma (I’ve done this once but I think I need to do it again to properly write about it haha), and whatever else has become popular and fun by then.
I suppose you could say that the bulk of the posts here, at least initially will be about the many gym alternative classes/training you can do to lose weight and stay fit. I’ve been hitting the gym for 7-8 years now and still do, but I have to admit that it gets boring after awhile. Thus my venture into boxing and Muay Thai.
Now I can’t be the only one who’s felt this way right?
There has to be other people who are either tired of going to the gym or just find it too plain and boring. If you’re one of them then this blog is for you.
So let’s wrap this up with a thank you from me for reading this first post. I hope you keep my blog in your list of favorites and come back every now and again to see what new thing I’ve written about.
Cheers
