Wall Climbing in Manila – Find out where to train

Wall climbing is a great workout and it’s really fun too. It’s one of the things that I wish I could do regularly but I can’t or at least I haven’t really been putting that much time into it (non at all really hehe). Right now I’m into boxing, body weight workouts, and I’m saving up for Crossfit regular membership. Add school to that and you have a very time constrained “trying” to be Fit Pinoy ;).

BUT seeing as it’s almost summer I plan to renew my zeal for wall climbing and I’ll start by doing it at least once a week. Someone over at PinoyExchange told me that the one in Cubao, Centro Atletico, offers unlimited climbs now so I’m gonna be checking that one out either this week or next.

Wall Climbing in Manila

Got this from Wikipedia, will post a picture of Centro Atletico here once I climb there 🙂

I’m picking Centro Atletico to be my main go to place because it’s the most accessible for me. It’s easy for me to get to the LRT 2 train by jeep and I actually hang out in Gateway a lot. The Cubao Wall Climbing place will be the easiest for me to visit.

I was also considering the one in Market, Market – Camp Sandugo – but it’s a bit too far already. I hear they also have an unlimited climb option so they’re a good place to train as well if you live near there.

I originally wanted to just write a post about Centro Atletico but since I did do a fair bit of Googling to find the most convenient place to climb, I decided to just come out with another directory type post. I don’t have that much info as of the writing of this post but hopefully it’ll grow as the months/years go by.

I’m limiting the directory to Wall Climbing places in Manila only because most of the things I write about are currently geographically limited to that region (because that’s where I live hehe). Maybe later on I’ll expand the content of this blog to include places outside of Manila but I’d probably only write about things that I’ve tried.

That’s enough of an intro already I suppose, here’s the list:

Where to Enjoy Wall Climbing in Manila

Last Update 3/12/2013: Konti Palang I know, will add more later.

I’m not absolutely sure if all of these are still open, most of them probably still are though. If you have any updates about the Wall Climbing places I list here please leave a comment to let me know so I can keep this list fresh and accurate. Also if you know of any other places that should be in this list, let me know as well.
