Guys let’s all do something to help the people who have been affected by Yolanda

I’m pretty sure you all know what’s happening over in Visayas and the other provinces that were hit by Yolanda. This post is really an appeal to everyone who’s able to help.

If you can do something please don’t hesitate to help out. Relief efforts are currently going on everywhere.

It doesn’t have to be a big act, kahit mag vulunteer ka lang, or magbigay ng goods that will be enough. You don’t have to go to ground zero (pero pwede din naman kung kaya mo hehe). But let’s at least try to do something to help.

My organization Initiatives for Social Action is doing a donation drive so that we can ship food, medecine and water to Guiuan, Eastern Samar. They badly need help so if you’re still looking for a group you want to donate to please consider giving the goods to us.

But there are countless kindhearted groups that are also doing everything they can to help other provinces. So if you have the desire to help, there will always be something that you can do.

Wag po sana tayo ma discourage tumulong because of all the bad rep that NGOs have been getting dahil sa PDAF thing sa news. Just do a background check on the group and just make sure na maging accountable sila sa inyo.

But please, tumulong tayo. Yun lang naman ang point ng post na to.

Be safe everyone and I hope your families are okay.
